Spring Mani: Purple Flowers

Hello everyone!

Sorry it has been so long! I have so many designs that I am itching to paint! Today, I decided to go with some purple themed nails. Nothing too extravagant, but I like the simplicity of it!

On all my nails except the ring finger, I started with a base of Pure Ice Fairy Godmother. Then on my ring finger, I added some studs from Winstonia Store and some small silver hex glitters. I started with two coats of Sinful Colors Snow Me White on my ring finger. The small flowers were made using a detail brush and Pure Ice Fairy Godmother, Essie Go Ginza, and Sinful Colors Sweet Tooth. I added some leaves using an unnamed green polish from Garage.

This was my very first attempt at flowers, and I think they turned out ok for a beginner. I definitely want to do more flower designs for spring! What are your favorite kind of flower nails? Thanks for stopping by!

Valentine's Day Mani 2014

Happy Valentine's Day!!!

I hope every one of you have a wonderful day!! Wether it be with you special someone, or just a group of friends, have fun today!! I have another mani for you all, as I said I would in my last post. This is sort of a mix and match pink and glitter mani!!

They are so simple yet I could stare at them all day!! The pink is two coats of Sinful Colors Boom Boom. On my ring finger I have two coats of Salon Perfect Diamond Dust topped with one coat of OPI Which Is Witch. I also used Which Is Witch for the glitter gradient. The little diamond studs are from Winstonia Store.

Every time these catch the sun, the holo glitters just go crazy! What do you think of this mani? Thanks for stopping by! I hope you all have a fantastic heart day!

Lust Nail Lacquer- T.N.T., Halo, and Supernova!

Hello everyone!!

As I type this, I am watching The 56th Grammy Awards! I absolutely love seeing everyone's beautiful dresses! Ok, onto the polish!

Recently I found a newer indie polish called Lust Nail Lacquer! Her polishes looked beautiful and I new I had to have a few! I decided to pick up T.N.T., Halo, and Supernova, all beautiful glitter polishes! I love the formula of these polishes, not too thick but not too thin. All of them also dry in a pretty good amount of time! I'll have to say, I really do love these!

T.N.T. is a beautiful glitter packed polish! The description of this polish reads, "Explosive holographic glitter bomb. Purple , pink, gold, silver and teal holo glitters make up this wonderfully sparkling polish." I started with a base of Sinful Colors Sugar N' Spice and then used two coats of T.N.T. on top. Words can't even explain how beautiful this polish is!

Next up is Halo! This polish is a gorgeous gold glitter topper with small gold hexes and micro gold holographic glitters! I decided to layer this polish over Color Club Blue Ming.

Last but not least is Supernova! This holographic glitter topper is filled with small silver holographic glitters! I layered one coat of Supernova over Essie Go Ginza. This was hard to capture on camera, but it super pretty!

I would highly recommend Lust Nail Lacquer! You can visit her site at lustpolish.com or go directly to her shop to purchase some of her polishes! Super great customer service and I am super happy with my polishes!

Thank you so much for stopping by!!

Sinful Colors- Gilded- Holiday 2013

Hey everyone!!

Recently I picked up a new shade from the Sinful Colors holiday collection! The collection is called "Decorate Decadently", with 5 different sub collections, if you will. The collection is composed of 26 colors, 16 new shades and 10 repromotes.

I picked up a new shade, Gilded, from the "sub-category"  Glitzed and Glittered. I think this color is absolutely gorgeous!

This color is somewhat sheer, but this is 2 coats by itself.

As of late, mainstream nail polish brands have started coming out with more unique colors/glitter mixes. I feel like they are kind of taking on an indie style of polish making! I think this is neat, but it is kind of scary that resemblance some polishes have to other indie polishes. I think that this polish resembles Liquid Sky Lacquer Golden Rose, which I might add is beautiful. I just thought I would add that little tid bit of information.

If you don't like the sheerness of this polish, you could definitely layer this over a solid color! If you guys have any suggestions for Thanksgiving/Christmas nails, leave them in the comments! Thanks for stopping by!

I have seen about 651234 different variations of nautical nails on Pinterest, Instagram, and floating around the web! I decided I would give them a go! I saw this mani from @yesnails on Instagram and I knew that I wanted to do my nautical mani kind of like hers!!

Yay I love them!! Colors used:
OPI Alpine Snow and I Saw... You Saw... We Saw... Warsaw ( I hate that name >.<)
Sinful Colors Cotton Candy
Julie G Metallic Heels

For the Anchor I used a small striping brush and for the stripes I used striping tape and a small brush.

I really like the way these turned out! How would you do your nautical mani? Thanks for stopping by!!

Geometric Skittlette

Hey everyone!

I really have been wanting to expand on the amount of nail art that I do! Right now I'm sticking to simple things, but at least I'm trying something! Today I have a really awesome mani for you all! I decided to try a skittlette, of which Marta from Chit Chat Nails created and is known for!

I love the way the geometric nails came out! They could use some work, but it looks pretty good for a first try! On my thumb and pointer I have 3 coats of Essie Where's My Chauffeur? On my middle and ring fingers I started with a base of OPI Alpine Snow and then using a small striping brush to make the triangles, I used Essie Where's My Chauffeur?, Sinful Colors Sugar n' Spice, and Wet n' Wild Black Creme. Then for my pinkie I started with a base of Pure Ice Beware and topped it with OPI Which is Witch?

What do you think of this mani? Would you wear it? Thanks for reading!!

Happy 4th! Sugar Spun nails!

Hey everyone! Happy 4th of July!

Today I have a patriotic mani, DUH!! I decided on trying some sugar spun nails! I really like the way they came out, especially for a first try! Of course there is room for improvement, but this is what the final product looks like! Oh and excuse the boo-boo on my pinkie :P

For a base I used two coats of OPI Alpine Snow. Then I created the "sugar" with Sinful Colors Endless Blue and Revlon Revlon Red. I didn't add a top coat because of the 3D effect that the polish made. Go check out Sammy from The Nailasaurus' tutorial for this look on her blog!

I'm in love!! What do you think about this look? Would you try sporting this look?
Thanks for stopping by!

Sinful Colors- Endless Blue with stripes!

Hey everyone!

Today I have some simple but awesome nail art for you all! I didn't really know what I was going to paint, but this is what I ended up with! I really love the way it turned out!

Oh and I had a little break on my index, but I refuse to cut them all down!

For the base on my pinkie, ring, and thumb, I used two coats of Julie G Frosted Gumdrops in Blueberry Fizz. Then I added some freehand stripes using Sinful Colors Endless Blue and OPI Alpine Snow. For my index and middle I used two coats of Endless Blue and added some studs from Winstonia Store.

Since Blueberry Fizz is a textured polish, I used one generous coat of Gelous and then a coat of INM Out The Door for top coat.

What do you guys think? What color combo would you use? Thanks for stopping by!

Blue Swirly Stamps!

Hey everyone!

Today I have another stamping attempt to show you guys! I really loved this design, BEFORE i put top coat on it!! Oh the smudgery.. :p I should have taken pictures pre top coat.. oh well!

I love this! I started with a base of Sinful Colors Sugar Rush. Then I stamped using Bundle Monster plate BM19. I randomly dropped a little bit of Sally Hansen Blue Me Away and OPI I saw... U saw... We saw... Warsaw onto the image, scraped away the excess polish, and picked up the random design! The Bundle Monster 1st generation plates are too small for my thumb.. so I didn't get the whole image onto my nail.

I think that this reminds me of a fake watermarble! It looks so cool! What do you think about it? Thanks for stopping by and reading!

Lolli Pop Lolli Pop!

Hello everyone!

I rarely ever stamp, and I have two full sets of plates. I decided that it was about time to start stamping and get better at it! I own the first generation Bundle Monster plates, and the first generation Winstonia plates. I was looking through my Bundle Monster set and found an image that I wanted to use!

I absolutely love the Sugar Rush collection by Sinful Colors, and the stamp went perfectly with the three polishes that I used!

LOLLIPOPS!! I loved the lollipop image from Bundle Monster from plate BM02! The three colors I used from the Sinful Colors Sugar Rush collection are Sweet Tooth, Cotton Candy, and Sugar Rush. For the accent nail I started with a base of OPI Alpine Snow and randomly stamped the lollipop image all over my nail with the three Sinful Colors. Then I stamped just the big lollipop on my other three fingers.

Thanks for stopping by and reading! I hope you guys liked this!

Orly- Peaceful Opposition & Sinful Colors- Cotton Candy

Hey everyone!

I really wanted to paint my nails but I didn't know what color to choose (the usual right?!). I opened my drawer full of polish and Orly Peaceful Opposition caught my eye. But I wanted an accent nail so I reached in and pulled out something at random, which happened to be Sinful Colors Cotton Candy. These two were a match made in heaven!

Instead of one accent nail, I went with two! I really love this combination! Shown here is three coats of each with topcoat.

What do you think about this mani?
