New Years Eve Nails! 2013

Hey everyone!

I think that New Years Eve nails my be the most fun nails to do! you can use as much glitter as you want and no one can say anything!! Thats the look I decided to go with! There are so many different ways that glitter can be used!

For my ring finger I placed some studs from Winstonia Store using a toothpick. For the rest of my fingers, I taped off the tip of my nails, put some topcoat on, sprinkled some glitter on, and then peeled off the tape. I used the silver glitter from a 12 pack I picked up at Walmart.

What are you wearing for New Years? Again I want to say thank you for supporting me, making it an awesome year!!

12 Days of Christmas Challenge- Day 9!

Hey everyone!

Day 9- Candy Canes!

This is one design that i wanted to do super bad this holiday season! I think they turned out good, although the top coat smudged them a bit. Candy Canes are super tedious, but I think the result was with it!

I started with two coats of OPI Alpine Snow. Then I taped off the stripes and used Revlon Revlon Red.

What do you think of these? I can't believe Christmas is almost here! Thanks for stopping by!

12 Days of Christmas Challenge- Day 8!

Hey everyone!

I know I'm still a little behind on this challenge, but I'm trying to find time to get caught up! The Christmas season is always so hectic! I still can't believe that it is only 6 days until Christmas and then shortly after we start a new year!

The eighth prompt in this challenge is reindeer! I was so excited to do this mani! I always have bad luck with top coat though, and it smeared just a tiny but. Oh well.

Aren' they so cute!? Some of their eyes are lopsided, but I think that makes them cute! And, obviously, Rudolph is on my ring finger!

To make these little guys, I used Zoya Louise and Flynn, OPI Alpine Snow, Revlon Revlon Red, and Wet n' Wild Black Creme.

It is getting closer and closer to Christmas! Have you done any Christmas nails? Thanks for stopping by!

12 Days of Christmas Nail Art Challenge- Day 7

Hey everyone!

So I'm still one day behind on this challenge, but I am determined to catch up this week! Before we know it, the challenge is going to be over! The challenge ends on Christmas, which is in 9 DAYS!! I love the Christmas season!

Today is Christmas free style! I decided to go with blue and silver because I wanted to get away from the traditional red and green for a day!

The blue is Orly Stone Cold. I made the different sized dots with Salon Perfect Diamond Dust. I think the Salon Perfect is just gorgeous! You can kind of see some of the holographic glitters on my thumb!

This was a last minute idea, and I like the way it turned out!! What do you think? Thanks for stopping by!

12 Days of Christmas Nail Art Challenge- Day 6!

Hey everyone!

So I know that I am a day behind, but I'm going to catch up! The challenge for December 12 was snowflakes! I decided to go with a nude polish, sparkles, and snowflakes!

My snowflake is a little wonky, but it think its cute! For the base I used OPI Don't Burst my Bubble, China Glaze Fairy Dust, and OPI Which is Witch. I used a nail art brush and white acrylic paint for the snowflake! The glitter kind of reminds me of the snow when the sun hits it!

Do you like these snowflake nails? Thanks for stopping by!!

Cute and simple! For the base I used one coat of OPI Alpine Snow topped with one coat of China Glaze White Cap. For the wreath I used a small detail brush and China Glaze Running in Circles and Revlon Red.

I hope you all are enjoying this challenge so far! Thank you so much for stopping by!

12 Days of Christmas Nail Art Challenge- Day 4!

Hey everyone!

Today's Christmas challenge is lights! I love driving around and seeing houses all decorated with lights! I also love seeing a tree all lit up and pretty with lights! Now my nails are part of all the festivities!

I LOVE how these came out! They are super easy and fun to do! For the base I used two coats of OPI Don't Burst My Bubble and then added a coat of China Glaze Fairy Dust. I used Wet n' Wild Black Creme to make the electrical cord. And for the lights I used Sinful Colors Endless Blue, Revlon Red, Sally Hansen Mellow Yellow, and an un-named polish from Garage.

What do you think of these? Thanks for stopping by!

12 Days of Christmas Nail Art Challenge! - Day 3

Hey everyone!!

So today is yet another day in the 12 days challenge! Today's theme is glitter! I bought a glitter some time last year from Loreal, but I never got the chance to use it around Christmas! I thought I would pull it out for this challenge! It consists of small red and gold glitters in a red tinted base!

Loreal Fancy Me just seemed perfect for the occasion! To get full opacity I used 3 thick coats and a thick topcoat. Excuse my oily fingers, got to keep them moisturized some how!

Thank you guys to so much for stopping by! Are you enjoying this challenge? If you did it on your blog, link it down below and I will go check it out!

12 Days of Christmas Nail Art Challenge- Day 2

Hello everyone!!

It is December 4th, which means day/prompt 2 is here! I am still full of motivation to finish this challenge! Today's theme is Green! I still decided to go with something simple for today!

I started with two coats of OPI Jade is The New Black and then added NYC Matte Me Crazy top coat. For my ring finger, I made the lines using striping tape and China Glaze I'm Not Lion.

I think that green and gold together make a pretty festive pair! I'm getting more and more into the Christmas spirit everyday! What about you?

Thank you for stopping by!!

12 Days of Christmas Nail Art Challenge! - Day 1

Hello everyone!!

So today I have something exciting to share with you all! I have been wanting to do all kinds of holiday nail art, so to tackle that I thought I would try a challenge! I was looking through some December/Christmas challenges, and I couldn't find one that I really just loved. So, I decided to make my own!! I thought it would be cool to make/have a challenge for myself!

If you couldn't tell by the title, I decided to go with a "12 Days of Christmas" challenge! This has twelve themes that will be done on the days leading up to Christmas! Here's what I came up with!

I think its pretty cute! I think that this can be done! I'm going to post this picture on my Instagram too! Anyone and everyone can do it! I say the more the merrier! If you do it, be sure to tag your picture/post with #12DOCchallenge

Instead of having two posts, I decided to just go ahead and do day one! Day 1's challenge is red. I decided to go with something simple and use Zoya China. This is one of Zoya's pixie dust polishes! I absolutely love this red and the glitter inside it!

Why is this so beautiful?!?! I think it is safe to say that I just love all Zoya polishes!! This is two coats no top coat.

Thank you all so much for visiting my blog! I hope you join me for this challenge! Please help spread the word!

Sinful Colors- Gilded- Holiday 2013

Hey everyone!!

Recently I picked up a new shade from the Sinful Colors holiday collection! The collection is called "Decorate Decadently", with 5 different sub collections, if you will. The collection is composed of 26 colors, 16 new shades and 10 repromotes.

I picked up a new shade, Gilded, from the "sub-category"  Glitzed and Glittered. I think this color is absolutely gorgeous!

This color is somewhat sheer, but this is 2 coats by itself.

As of late, mainstream nail polish brands have started coming out with more unique colors/glitter mixes. I feel like they are kind of taking on an indie style of polish making! I think this is neat, but it is kind of scary that resemblance some polishes have to other indie polishes. I think that this polish resembles Liquid Sky Lacquer Golden Rose, which I might add is beautiful. I just thought I would add that little tid bit of information.

If you don't like the sheerness of this polish, you could definitely layer this over a solid color! If you guys have any suggestions for Thanksgiving/Christmas nails, leave them in the comments! Thanks for stopping by!

Snake Skin Stamp

Hey everyone!

I haven't blogged in FOREVER! Nails have fallen by the wayside lately. I am going to try my best to get back into it! I got the urge to do my nails again the other day and I went for something new and ambitious! I decided to pull out my Winstonia Store stamping plates!

Snakeskin!! I love the way that they turned out!!

On my thumb, pointer, and pinkie I started with a base of Essie School of Hard Rocks. Then on my middle and ring I used a base of OPI Number One Nemesis. Then I stamped with the Winstonia Store plate W101, withe the reverse color. If that makes sense?.?.? :p

I love these two colors together! I think they work together and are perfect for the fall season! What do you think about these?

Thanks for stopping by!

Back to School nails!

Hey everyone!

Today I have some back to school nails to show you all! It is that time of the year again! I have actually never done back to school nails, so this was a first go at them! I like how they turned out, but they got a little smudged from the top coat. I always get impatient and put it on to fast! I'll just have to be more patient next time!

Alright. If you will notice on my ring finger, it says the square route of one. Yes, I know that is not possible :P I was trying to think of a number and one came to my mind! It was much later that I realized what I had done!

Onto the colors:
Red- Revlon Revlon Red
Blue- Sally Hansen Blue Me Away
Black- Wet n' Wild Black Creme
White- OPI Alpine Snow

I think these are perfect for back to school! What do you think? Would you give these a shot? Thanks for stopping by!

Today I have a really simple mani to show you guys! Although it is simple, I really love the color combination!!

For the blue, I used 3 thin coats of Color Club Blue-Ming. Then I free handed the hearts with Zoya Tomoko, which is ABSOLUTELY gorgeous!!

I think these two colors make a fabulous combination!! What do you think of this mani? Thanks for stopping by!

Camouflage Nails!

Hey everyone!!

I have decided to do the September Nail Art Challenge made by +CaliforNAILS (@californails) on Instagram! It is a nail art challenge that is do-able with a prompt every two or three days! I know that I am already one day late >.< but I really am going to try to keep up with this challenge!! The first prompt/theme is camo! I have never tried camo nails so I was excited to give it a shot!

These are so easy to do!! The only "tool" I used was a dotting tool! I used Louise, Hunter, and Flynn by Zoya and the black is Black Creme by Wet n' Wild.

I am so excited to do this challenge!! I really hope that I can keep up with it! I think I should be able to even though I'm already off to a late start! :P Would you be brave enough to rock a camo mani? Thanks for stopping by!!

Gummy Green

Hey everyone!!

I feel so out of the loop! I haven't blogged in i think over a week!! I miss it! Like I mentioned in previous posts, I have had some computer issues. It ultimately came down to getting a new computer. With that being said, I have been computer-less for a little while! But I am back now and so ready to get back into blogging! Today I have this really cool mix and match mani to show you all! This was completely inspired by @mrslochness on Instagram, who I absolutely love!

I absolutely love the way these colors look together! For the pointer and middle finger I used Hard Candy Gummy Green. Then for the thumb and the ringer finger I used Zoya Pixie Dust in Dahlia. And lastly for the pinkie, I used OPI Gargantuan Green Grape.

Zoya Dahlia is the first Pixie Dust that I have tried and I absolutely love it!! It is so easy to apply!

Thanks for stopping by!

Yay I love them!! Colors used:
OPI Alpine Snow and I Saw... You Saw... We Saw... Warsaw ( I hate that name >.<)
Sinful Colors Cotton Candy
Julie G Metallic Heels

For the Anchor I used a small striping brush and for the stripes I used striping tape and a small brush.

I absolutely love this color! It is just gorgeous!!

Next I added 1 coat of Essie Stroke of Brilliance! I've never found something that I wanted to pair this with, so I decided to try it over Dreamer!
